Christine Ledoux
Mosaic artist
Artist Christine Ledoux is a self-taught mosaic artist from
Southwest Louisiana. She has spent many years
experimenting with different forms of media & materials. In the
end, she settled on her passion: mixing clay and glass.
Her focus is on the fusion between ceramic and glass. By
combining hand-built clay forms,stained glass and other
materials, she has found a way to express herself uniquely.
She is constantly inspired by colors and textures, everything
from nature to graceful proportions of a human body.
Her art pieces usually start from an interesting shard of glass,
stone or a broken piece of pottery. It's her canvas, the way
she reclaims objects. Little by little, the pieces come
together to create mosaics.
